Fresh Homemade Pasta

Pasta is one of the easiest things to cook and one of the most versatile ingredients in the kitchen. You can add just about anything and everything that you find, and still your pasta dish will taste good. It also fills you up really well, so that if you want a no-fuss meal that’s going to fill your stomach adequately, you can always run to pasta.

Of course, every meal is better when the ingredients are fresh, and making your own pasta is easy! All you need for a basic pasta dough recipe is the following: eggs, flour, and a little bit of salt. For every part of flour you need two parts egg, so if you have a cup of flour, you’ll need two eggs for that. You mix the flour and eggs and season it with a little bit of salt and form it into a dough ball. Knead the ball for ten minutes, form smaller balls, and roll each ball out until you reach your desired thickness, while leaving the unused balls in a bowl with a damp cloth on top. You can cook it at once and enjoy your freshly-made pasta.
